Small World Preschool is a full-service Preschool that cares for children from ages 12 months to 12 years old. We focus on quality childcare with a fun, safe and family-oriented atmosphere that ensures our students can learn and grow while feeling valued by our staff. Small World Preschool opened on November 2, 1987. We are licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TDPS), we are also one of the longest running family owned and operated Preschools in Round Rock.

How did we start? Approximately 35 years ago our founders, Fernando and Esperanza Duarte moved to a small city outside of Austin, Texas to start and grow their young family. Mr. & Mrs. Duarte quickly realized there was a shortage of childcare options available in the area. This challenge led Mrs. Duarte to explore the potential of starting a Childcare Center in Round Rock and eventually became the catalyst to opening Small World Learning Center. Small World Learning Center has since blossomed into a well-respected and established Small Business for 32 years in Round Rock. During this time, Small World grew and developed along with the city, expanding our facilities twice and contributing to the community wherever possible. Small World feels that quality childcare should be available to everyone regardless of a family’s economic status. We provide daily, made from scratch meals for lunch, as well as breakfast and snacks throughout the day. We believe this level of attention and care, has kept us growing and thriving over the years. For these reasons and many more we’ve been able to overcome the test of time with excellent reviews from our past customers.
